On 16 September 2009 the iNTCCM annual meeting took place in Nuremberg, Germany. In these economic times it was expected that members who have to travel from far could not participate. These times also kept a number of members occupied with their work and could not find the time to go to Nuremberg. Despite this fact, 10 members were present and several members gave their input via email (thanks to those who send in input).
The meeting was chaired by Rene Schaap.
Sofar our certification board iSQI examined around 120 persons from Australia, Columbia, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, France and several other countries.
All board and working group chair positions were open for new elections. Not many members were nominated upfront for the open positions. A dissappointing fact and a sign that our organisation needs changes. Fortunately we had enthousiastic participants and we were able to fulfill almost all positions during the elections.
We hereby like to inform you that the new board consists of:
The new working group chairmen are:
Ralf Ramershoven stayed in the position of treasury and Anne Mette Jonassen Hass agreed to fulfill the role of controller. We still have a vacancy for the second role of controller. If you (as iNTCCM member) can find the time for this controller role (yearly check of the treasuries work), please contact Silvia Huhse (silvia.huhse@isqi.org).
The new board likes to continue the work started by all the others and is willing to invest their time to make the iNTCCM successful.
However, this success is also depending on input from our members and we hope that you all can support us during this difficult task.
A lot of work needs to be done by the non electable positions, being the working group members. The more we can divide work amongst each other,
the more we can produce with each other. Please consider investing time in one of the working groups -
contact Silvia Huhse (silvia.huhse@isqi.org) if you like to participate.
We wish all of the members success in their careers and hope all of you carry out the message of "iNTCCM, the public available configuration management standard, by CM professionals for CM professionals".

The ICT department of the Dutch Tax Office have certified 8 of their configuration management professionals. After an intense 3 day iNTCCM Foundation course conducted by Rene Schaap all participants passed the exam. The iNTCCM Association wishes the newly iNTCCM certified professionals lots of successes in their CM career.
After a few foundation trainings all over the world, questions, remarks and suggestions for improvement on the iNTCCM documentation arise. To be able to handle and process them, the cr procedure has been set up. This procedure, including a CR form, can be downloaded via the "downloads" section or via the "CR procedure" section of this site.
We encourage you to raise CRs to contribute to the iNTCCM community and to improve our documents.
As we are planning to release new issues of the "Foundation Level Qualification Scheme" and "Glossary of terms used in configuration management" mid 2009, we are looking for people who would like to participate in reviewing the proposed changes to these documents. The workgroup will take care of handling and implementing the change requests, but we need the voice of the iNTCCM community too. The broader representation of the iNTCCM community we can consult, the better the quality of our documents will be!
If you are interested to participate as a reviewer, please contact Pascal van Kempen of the working group "Qualification Schemes" via wg.schemes@intccm.org.
